We expect these systems to allow students to meet or exceed district standards, to develop good intellectual habits, and to formulate the values necessary to be responsible, productive members of our society.
Students must demonstrate standards of proficiency in academic and social skills, and develop an understanding of appreciation for diverse cultures, and also acquiring good health habits necessary to maintain their physical and emotional well-being.
Our students must be prepared for a rapidly changing world by taking full advantage of the academic and vocational opportunities available to them within the school system. Self-worth and self-confidence should be cultivated by recognizing and developing unique talents and abilities of each student to the fullest extent possible. Such a climate of safety and learning will foster positive attitudes toward school.
